Idea 3 The opening

The opening scene tracks through the forest, as is a character/audience is running, until the scene comes to an ancient manor house in an opening. The sounds within this opening scene will contain heavy raspy breathing and a soft breeze.

On arrival at the opening the camera should track forward to see the manor more clearly, showing old details and gargoyles.

The scene cuts to the cellar, items indicating the same location (under the manor). In the cellar their is a cage in the corner with a hay stack with animal in print (wolf was lying there), the cage door is hanging open at the top hinge and wolf fur is caught in between the bars. There are three chess sets lied out in the center of the room made from various materials, (glass, plastic, metal). in the other corner a portal appears, throwing cobwebs and blood red material into the room, the two styles blend into each other. A shadowed figure appears in the opening of the portal.

Intal ideas

Idea 3 - Lord Loss

Once again the idea consists of transforming scenes from a book by Darren Shan called Lord Loss. The book is the first in a serise of demon books. Within Lord Loss the character faces the fact that the genes of a werewolf line runs through his blood and when the wolf wants to take over, only a demon, Lord Loss) can save his human soul and and form. My idea for this piece is the recreation of the battle with Lord Loss along side the battles running through his blood sream. I think this piece would work well as an animation for a short story or a film trailer.

Idea 2 - Twilight

The second idea, (which i quickly discarded) was again sparked by a book by Stephine Meyre. The idea consisted of a animation piece which would consist of the emotional roller coaster of the main character.

Idea 1 - Death Trials

This idea has sparked from a book by Darren Shan called Trials of Death. Within the story a young vampire has 4 trails to face in order to become a prince. I idea is to recreate these experiences within the trials in an animation, however this idea would work better as a game.
